When you are using a computer, you may come up against something that you don’t understand or are not sure about doing. If so, we can help.
--- Setting Up New Equipment ---
 Bought a new piece of equipment but not sure how to get it working? Whether the new equipment is a printer, all-in-one, webcam, digital camera or DVD rewriter, we can help.All equipment installed is fully tested, and if there are problems - such as printer cartridges - we can advise on getting the problems resolved.
--- Viruses & Spyware ---
 Sadly, it is not unusual for computers to become infected with rogue programmes such as Viruses and Spyware. But many people are unaware of the risks, and don’t know what to do if there computer starts having problems.
We can detect and clear any infections that may be affecting your computer, and put programmes into place to ensure your computer is protected against future threats. We use and recommend Norton security programmes.
--- Broadband & Wireless Broadband setup ---
 Setting up a new broadband connection, especially a secured wireless broadband, can prove tricky. Fortunately we are able to help, from advising which broadband package to use, advising on which equipment to buy (if needed), and setting the whole thing up.
We recommend Netgear equipment.
--- Software Setup and Configuration (including Skype) ---
 Bought software and not sure about how to install it? Installed Skype but cannot get it working? We can help install and configure virtually all software including video messaging and broadband phones
--- Obtaining Equipment ---
 Not sure what equipment to buy? Confused by all the jargon? Want to know if that salesman who is recommending an expensive piece of equipment is helping you or himself?
As we are not a reseller, and have not ties with any manufacturer, we do not sell any product, so all our advice is honest and impartial. We are happy, if so requested, to obtain equipment or software for a client and will try do so for the best price we can through our range of suppliers.
--- Unusual Requests ---
 Though it is not a standard part of our service, we have on occassion carried out other technology-related tasks such as setting up DVD players and Freeview boxes. And while this will never be a major part of what we do, never be afraid to ask for assistance with such things if we are there.
